Creating the Soundtrack to Curtin University's Graduation Celebrations

Teaming up with the incredibly talented Sash Seabourne from Pinnacle Acoustic, another fantastic performer in Perth, we created a relaxed and uplifting atmosphere that complemented the excitement of the graduation celebrations.

Our set list was carefully curated to suit guests of all ages, blending contemporary favourites with timeless classics. Throughout the afternoon, we performed songs including Big Jet Plane, Higher Love, Budapest and Dancing Queen, along with a variety of other acoustic favourites that kept the atmosphere warm, welcoming and celebratory.

One of my favourite moments was towards the end of the event, as graduates lined up in their gowns with family and friends nearby. Hearing so many of them singing along to Dancing Queen, laughing together and celebrating everything they had achieved was such a joyful reminder of why I love performing at milestone events like these.

There's something incredibly rewarding about providing the soundtrack to moments that people will remember for years to come. Live music has a unique way of bringing people together, and it was a privilege to help celebrate the achievements of Curtin University's newest graduates as they embarked on their next chapter.

A huge thank you to Lux Events for having us, and congratulations once again to every Curtin graduate who sang along with us. It was an honour to be part of such a special celebration at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, and I look forward to performing at many more corporate and university events in the future.
