I like to set up the reception gear first when i’m doing full days. I set up x2 EV50 speakers which include two subs and two towers. This PA can accomodate up to 150 people. I also have my own DJ booth and run a Pioneer DDJFLX4 with a party bar lighting rig.
For the ceremony, I like to use a BOSE S1 battery powered speaker. This way, I can be set up anywhere from the middle of a paddock to a waterfall.

Is your wedding more than 1 hour out of Perth? Please read below
Only the Full Day package is available for bookings more than 1 hour out of Perth. You are still welcome to book the Ceremony & Pre-Reception package; however, the full day rate will still apply.
$44 per hour of travel (eg. 6 hours = $264) per performer
$440 accommodation allowance for solo and duo and a $660 allowance for full bands.
Destination weddings such as Rottnest Island are not included in this booklet, please email hello@rubymiguel.com for a curated price and note that only the Full Day package is available.
Instruments:
Ruby is a versatile musician who plays both piano and guitar. You’re welcome to have both instruments featured at your wedding for an additional fee of $110. If not, one instrument of your choice is included in the solo package price.
Venue Change Fee:
If there is a change of venue from ceremony to pre-reception/reception area, a $110 location change fee will apply. For example, ceremony held at Cottesloe Civic Gardens and reception is held at Cottesloe Golf Club. This fee does not apply if changing location at the SAME venue. This is to cover the time of setting up in the reception area first, travelling to the ceremony location and then back to the reception location.
Wet Weather Plan:
A wet weather plan is required due to the risk of damaging expensive equipment.
Shade Requirement:
For outdoor performances, shade is needed (e.g., under a tree or with an umbrella) to protect expensive equipment from heat and sun damage.
Songlist:
If you would like more new songs added on your day, $110 per song will be added. Remember, the full day package has 2 new songs included and Ceremony & Pre-Reception has 1 new song included. You can browse my songlist here.

Terms & Conditions
By agreeing, the client, the act/artist and all performers have agreed to enter into this agreement with Boutique Music Perth. This agreement is governed by the Terms and Conditions set out below:
1. CANCELLATION POLICY
If the client cancels the booking due to avoidable circumstances - such as changing the event date, deciding not to proceed with the event, or failing to secure required permits - the following cancellation fees will apply based on the timing of the cancellation. For the purposes of this cancellation policy, the wedding or event date is considered Day 0. All cancellation timeframes are calculated by counting backwards from Day 0. For example:
Cancellation within 48 hours of the event: 100% of the agreed fee is payable and non-refundable.
Cancellation between 49 hours and 14 days before the event: 80% of the agreed fee is payable.
Cancellation between 15 and 30 days before the event: 60% of the agreed fee is payable.
Cancellation between 31 and 61 days before the event: 50% of the agreed fee is payable.
Cancellation more than 61 days before the event: 50% of the agreed fee is payable.
Exception – Compassionate Circumstances:
In the case of an unavoidable, serious incident (e.g., a death in the immediate family), Boutique Music Perth will offer compassion and flexibility. Refunds or credit toward a future date will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Reasonable documentation may be requested.Cancellation Procedure:
All cancellations or date change requests must be submitted in writing via email to ensure clear communication.2. COVID-19 POLICY
If the event is affected by COVID-19 restrictions — including government-mandated lockdowns, border closures, isolation requirements, or gathering limits — the following applies:
Postponement Due to Government Restrictions:
If the event must be postponed due to a lockdown or similar restriction, Boutique Music will transfer the booking to a new date at no extra cost, subject to availability.
If Boutique Music Perth or the originally booked act is unavailable for the new date, an 80% refund will be issued, with 20% retained to cover booking admin, prep, and communication time.Performer Illness or Isolation:
If Boutique Music Perth or a performer tests positive or is required to isolate and cannot attend, Boutique Music will do everything possible to provide a high-quality replacement.
If no suitable replacement can be secured, the client will receive an 80% refund, with 20% retained to cover preparation and held time.Client-Initiated Cancellation (COVID-Related):
If the client cancels due to personal illness or concern — and there are no legal restrictions preventing the event — the standard cancellation policy applies.
Boutique Music understands the unpredictability of COVID-19 and will always aim to work flexibly and fairly with clients to find the best possible solution.
3. FLIGHTS/TRAVEL
If a Boutique act misses their flight/bus/ferry due to reasons within their control (e.g. poor time management, failure to check in), and as a result cannot attend the event, the client will receive a 100% refund of the performance fee, minus any non-refundable travel costs already paid (e.g. flights, baggage, or transport).
If a flight or transport service is cancelled or delayed by the airline/transport provider or due to circumstances beyond the act’s control (including but not limited to weather or airline operational issues), and this results in the act being unable to perform, no refund will be issued.
This is because the act will have already committed the date, completed all required preparation, and made themselves available for the performance, resulting in a lost booking opportunity. Any non-refundable travel and accommodation costs will also be retained.
Boutique Music will always make reasonable efforts to source a suitable alternative performer where possible to ensure continuity of service, however this cannot be guaranteed.
4. UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
In the event of unavoidable issues such as car accidents, vehicle breakdowns, severe weather, or major traffic delays that prevent a Boutique act from attending, the client will receive an 80% refund, provided that:
Proof is supplied that reasonable efforts were made to attend.
No suitable replacement performer could be arranged.
The 20% retained covers time already spent on booking admin, preparation, communication, and loss of the performance date. If Boutique Music Perth provides a trusted, high-quality replacement, the performance will proceed as planned and the full fee will remain payable.
5. FORCE MAJEURE
Boutique Music Perth will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by acts beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, fire, flood, pandemic, industrial actions, war, terrorism, or government orders. In these cases, Boutique Music Perth will work with the client to offer a reschedule using the amount already paid.
6. LIABILITY LIMITATION
If something happens that is outside Boutique Music Perth’s control and the client’s event is changed or cancelled, Boutique Music Perth is not responsible for any extra costs the client may have. This includes things like travel, accommodation, or other vendor fees.
Boutique Music Perth’s responsibility is limited to their fee only, and we will not be liable for any additional losses or expenses (for example a stage has been hired for the band).
7. PERFORMANCE CONTINUITY
If a performer becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond their control, Boutique Music Perth will source a replacement of equal quality and professionalism. Boutique Music Perth will always make an effort to inform the client in advance, but if time is extremely limited, advance notice may not be possible.
If a booked performer demonstrates poor communication, unprofessional conduct, or a poor attitude in the lead-up to the event, Boutique Music Perth reserves the right to remove them from the lineup. The client will be notified of the situation and consulted before any changes are finalised, and a trusted replacement will be arranged to maintain the integrity of the performance.
8. CUSTOM QUOTE SELECTIONS, CHANGES, AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES
By confirming the quote, the client accepts responsibility for ensuring all required services are selected. Changes after submission, such as venue, time, or date changes may attract additional charges, especially if the location is outside of Perth metro area. Any updates to logistics or services will be communicated, and a revised final invoice will reflect actual services delivered.
9. REFUND PROCESS
Where a refund is applicable, it will be processed within 14 business days of cancellation confirmation.
10. PAYMENT TERMS
Unless otherwise agreed, the 50% deposit secures the date and must be paid within the agreed timeframe. Failure to pay the deposit within this period may result in the booking being cancelled without notice. Final payment is due at least 7 days prior to the event date unless other arrangements are made in writing.
11. SOCIAL MEDIA
By booking Boutique Music Perth, the client grants permission to share content from the event (including names, photos, or screenshots of friendly messages) for promotional use on social media platforms. Private details will never be posted without consent. If the client would like to opt out or have specific requests about what is shared, please let Boutique Music Perth know in writing prior to the event.
