  • I like to set up the reception gear first when i’m doing full days. I set up x2 EV50 speakers which include two subs and two towers. This PA can accomodate up to 150 people. I also have my own DJ booth and run a Pioneer DDJFLX4 with a party bar lighting rig.

    For the ceremony, I like to use a BOSE S1 battery powered speaker. This way, I can be set up anywhere from the middle of a paddock to a waterfall.

Music has always been my first love, so it honestly feels like the biggest privilege to handle the tunes on someone’s big day.

I trained under DJ FADJ’s DJ School - an amazing course designed to show women the ins and outs of the skill. That experience gave me the confidence to step behind the decks with intention, skill, and a deep love for creating unforgettable moments on the dance floor.

I’ll professionally mix your favourite genres, take requests on the night, and keep the dance floor full from start to finish. I also love working closely with couples in the lead-up to the day to create a custom playlist that reflects your taste and the kind of vibe you want to create. If needed, I’m more than happy to jump in as MC too, or I can coordinate with your chosen MC to make sure everything runs smoothly.

  • I offer a wide range of music genres to suit any wedding style, from romantic pop love songs, country, and jazz to upbeat anthems. We’ll discuss your preferences to create a setlist that perfectly matches the vibe you want for your special day.

  • Absolutely! Your wedding day should reflect your unique style, so I’m happy to curate a package that’s just right for you. Whether you want a soloist for the ceremony and a full band for the reception, or something completely different, I’ll work with you to design a music experience that perfectly matches your vision.

  • Yes! This service is included in my Full Day Package which includes live music for your ceremony, canapés and dinner and then a 2-3 hour DJ set until the end of the night.

    I carefully curate a set list of songs that you have selected to be played on the night, and then use that as inspiration to fill in any gaps as well as reading the crowd on the night.

  • It’s best to book as early as possible to ensure availability, especially during peak wedding seasons. Typically, booking 6-12 months in advance is ideal, but if your wedding date is approaching sooner, feel free to reach out, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you!

  • Yes, I provide all necessary sound equipment for my performances, ensuring top-quality sound throughout the day. If you have specific sound requirements or need additional equipment, I’m happy to discuss options with you.

  • Of course! I have 2 battery powered Bose S1 speakers which I use to set up an any location.

  • Absolutely! I travel both interstate and internationally for weddings. If your wedding is more than one hour outside of Perth I do charge a travel fee of $55 per hour and an overnight fee for accomodation (varies). I do also only booked my full day package for outside of Perth weddings.

  • I like to keep this part nice and simple. A 50% deposit is required to lock in the date with me, and then I request the remaining amount one month before the wedding. I will send you a booking agreement to sign and then also set you up in my system so you receive automatic emails to keep us on track.

    All prices are including GST so there aren’t any hidden fees.

  • For weddings more than 1 hour from Perth, travel is charged at $55 per hour (for example, 6 hours of total travel = $330).
    An accommodation allowance also applies, $440 for solo and duo bookings, and $660 for full bands.
    Please note that only the Full Day package is available for locations more than 1 hour out of Perth. You are welcome to book a shorter amount of time if that suits, but they full day amount will still apply.

  • Yes! Destination weddings are available upon request. These are not included in the standard price guide, so please email hello@rubymiguel.com for a custom quote. Only the Full Day package is available for these bookings.

  • Yes! I can perform on both piano and guitar for an additional $110.
    If you prefer just one, either instrument is included in the standard solo package or you can opt for the duo which has both at the same time!

  • A $110 location change fee applies if setup and performance are required in more than one area (e.g. ceremony and reception).
    This covers additional setup, travel time, and reset between spaces.

  • Yes. a wet weather plan is essential. It ensures that all musical equipment stays safe and performances can go ahead smoothly, even if the weather changes. In some cases, a marquee or cover may be required for outdoor events, just like looking after your guests, please look after me too!

  • Yes, for outdoor setups, shade is required if I’m going to be set up there all day. If it’s just the ceremony, I’m happy not to have a cover as this is only a short amount of time. But if live music, DJ and MC is all outdoors, then shade must be arranged. This is to protect instruments and equipment from heat to avoid malfunction on your big day. Shade can be under a tree, umbrella, or marquee.
